Capability index — v0.1
Status: normative for GET /orient?format=json. Schema id: a4sx.capability-index/0.1.
The capability index is the machine-readable twin of the /orient brief. It lists every capability a4sx offers an agent, with its REST, MCP and CLI form, its live status, its price and the auth it needs. It is built per request from the same live state the brief reads, so the two never disagree.
Response headers:
auth is ["oauth", "key"] while the OAuth authorization server is on, else ["key"]. /mcp answers anonymous search; /mcp/library requires sign-in from initialize on.
{name, capability}; capability is null for a utility of the CLI itself (update, version, …).
Every row is always present for every caller, whatever its area; nothing is filtered by caller. Internal and blog tools are not part of the index.
closed_beta, access_pending.
price is null for an anonymous caller, and for any row that is not available now or, where it is bought, not purchasable. Amounts are as shown at checkout; the checkout is authoritative.
source names where the value came from: subscription_prices:<offering>, router_allowance or free_selling.
signed_in (an account session or a library key), an MCP scope (library:read, library:acquire, library:publish, modules:read, operators:read, operators:instruct), workspace_owner, paid_workspace, and human: a person must finish this step (a payment, a confirmation). An agent never completes a human step itself.
{name, area, listed_to, listed_to_caller, requires_scope[]}
requires_scope) or none (switched off on this deployment).
