a4sx — the problems it solves

a4sx is the substrate your agents run on. One durable event ledger, the visibility and governance to run agents safely, control over their reasoning and their secrets, and a flywheel that makes them cheaper and better over time. Value. A service emits webhooks, but your agent has nowhere to receive them. a4sx is the durable front door: point the webhook at it and your agent consumes a clean, replayable event stream.

The problem. You want your agent to react to events from some service (GitHub, Stripe, Jira, a CI run) but there's no easy, durable place to send those events to.

How it works. The collector is an append-only, event-sourced ingest. A producer POSTs an envelope to /events (or a webhook lands and is normalized); every event is validated, deduplicated by event_id, and delivered to subscribers over SSE. An agent runs the shim, subscribes to the event types it cares about, and each delivered event becomes context for a reasoning step — no polling, no bespoke queue.
